Why Add Outdoor Lighting to Your Yard and Pool Area
While some people have lap pools that were installed only for exercise, others (most) want their pool to serve as an entertainment hub. Pools are often paired with an outdoor kitchen, a spacious deck, a fire pit, water features, a hot tub, and other features around which family and friends can congregate. Candles, solar landscapes, and overhead chandeliers can provide the needed nighttime visibility without the glare of spotlights. Properly positioned LED lights (available in many colors) can add a dramatic touch to your yard and poolside area. Colored lights that reflect the water can be installed into the edges of the pool or floating pool globes can be added for an additional flair.

While you don’tt have to install backyard lights at the same time as the pool, installing them together will make creating a synchronized lighting system easier. You’ll need a wired or wireless outdoor stereo system to get sound distributed throughout your backyard. There are many products on the market today which are built to remain in place between parties while also remaining unobtrusive. A sound system is also helpful if you intend to add a TV. If your yard is a place where you relax to watch sports, movies, etc., then pairing a water resistant television with your sound system will provide an excellent listening and viewing experience.
